What products does Greenco export?
Core lines include U.S. alfalfa hay (including organic when available), timothy and other forage, complementary feed ingredients, and food-grade dried fruit, nuts, and seeds. Select seafood specialties are offered on a program basis.
What are typical alfalfa export grades?
Common U.S. compressed alfalfa export grades we trade against include:
- Standard — crude protein > 18%, RFV > 150
- Premium — crude protein > 20%, RFV > 170
- Supreme — crude protein > 22%, RFV > 185
Final quality is confirmed per lot / cutting (lab and photos as required).
What packaging does Greenco use (GCI brand)?
Forage export programs typically use GCI double-compressed bales (approx. 50 kg each, program-dependent) with GCI brand identification for clear handling through warehouse and ocean transit. Container targets are often around ~25 MT per 40′ high-cube for alfalfa—confirmed order by order.
What is the minimum order size?
Most export forage programs are multi-container or program shipments. Exact minimums depend on product, packing, origin, and destination. Share your target volume (MT or containers) on the quote form and we will confirm feasibility.
Which load ports do you use?
West Coast load ports commonly include Tacoma, WA, Oakland, CA, and the Los Angeles / Long Beach area. Multi-port flexibility helps manage congestion and freight options.
Where are processing facilities located?
Processing hubs include Moses Lake, Washington; Reno, Nevada; and Dixon, California, supporting diversified western origin and schedule flexibility.
What documents are typically provided?
Export packages are coordinated to match the contract and destination requirements. Depending on product and market, this may include commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate, and quality / lab documentation where applicable. Tell us your destination country so we can align document scope early.
Do you offer organic products?
Yes—organic alfalfa and related organic-capable programs are offered when certified supply and handling are available. Availability is crop-year and lot-dependent; inquire with volume and destination for current options.
What lead times should we plan for?
Lead time varies by commodity, crop-year supply, packing capacity, vessel schedules, and documentation. Provide your target shipment window on the quote form; traders will respond with realistic timing for the current market.
Which markets do you serve?
